Hello, I just purchased a new Liberty III pistol. The manual is vague on what to oil. The Calico manual says to just lightly oil all metal parts. I have an AR15 and a Sig 556 and the manual with them are quite detailed on what to oil/grease and cleaning. Thanks.

Pretty much any gun will run well with as little crud in it as possible.
The magazine seems to be the weak point for fouling. Open and wipe clean after every session. Don't put any oil or graphite in it, just get the carbon wiped out with a little No9
Clean bore, bolt and receiver and wipe with an oil cloth, followed by dry. You should leave not much more than a clean, smooth surface, any oil left on operating parts can increase fouling.
The trigger group seems to be fairly robust, do that every now and then by removing it and using a small brush to knock debris out. No need to disassemble it, and it can be tricky to put back together.

A slight polish on the sear can improve trigger pull some, but try your piece out before you decide whether it needs it.
