Can someone please let me know which .22LR pistols or carbines have threaded barrels and are they threaded 1/2x28? I have an AAC M4-2000 mod 7 that is unreal on my 10/22. I am hoping I can buy a Calico and get the same results.
Thanks,
Dan |

I don't think any of them are threaded stock, but there a several places like adco that will do threading services .
Hope that helps!

Do you have any experience with threaded barrels for the Calico rifles? I have a .22lr Sporter with the keyhole wooden stock and I want to have the barrel threaded. My concern is whether the barrel is thick enough to take a 1/2 x 28 thread pattern.
Any info on that?
Thanks in advance. |

Ok, so no one responded and no one else seems to be on this board, so maybe this falls into the category of events like whether trees make a noise when they fall in the woods and no one is there......
So, what I did was:
removed the barrel
threaded the barrel to 3/8 - 24
purchased a Gemtech 3/8 - 24 to 1/2 - 28 adapter (around $50.)
cut the flash hider off just in front of the roll pin hole
polished the cut marks smooth and painted it black
purchased a DPMS 3 Prong flash hider (around $8.)
I shot the gun with my suppressor and it ran great and ran quietly provided the ammo was subsonic.
